We are looking for Community Mobilizers and Facilitators to join our team at Vidyasadan, SAJAG’s community learning space in Kalyan. If you love working with children (ages 6 to 9) and want to create meaningful learning experiences while building strong community relationships, this is the opportunity for you!

At Vidyasadan, we have built a space where children explore, learn, and grow with confidence. As part of the team, you will engage with young learners, work closely with families, and mobilize the community to make education more accessible and joyful.

Role Description

As a Facilitator, you will:

Conduct interactive, child-friendly learning sessions
Use creative and hands-on methods to support literacy and numeracy
Build strong connections with children and observe their progress
Maintain a warm, inclusive learning environment
As a Community Mobilizer, you will:

Build relationships with families in the neighbourhood
Conduct home visits and hold meetings with parents
Encourage parental participation in children’s learning
Mobilize the community for events and initiatives at Vidyasadan
What We’re Looking For

Passion for working with children and communities
Strong communication and facilitation skills (Marathi is essential; Hindi/English a plus)
Enthusiasm for hands-on learning and creative teaching methods
Commitment to working full-time, Monday to Saturday
Prior experience in education, outreach, or social work is desirable but not mandatory
Residents of Kalyan or nearby areas preferred
