Role & Responsibilities

Library Programming & Facilitation

Organize engaging reading sessions and creative activities for children and youth
Conduct workshops with parents and teachers to promote reading and learning
Curate and manage books, toys, puzzles, and learning materials
Outreach & Community Engagement

Design and lead community events to promote the library and increase membership
Create awareness about diverse forms of knowledge and ways of learning
Engage regularly with parents, children, and volunteers
Teamwork & Planning

Plan weekly activities and maintain records of sessions
Track library lending, follow up on dues, and manage simple data systems
Contribute to monthly planning and reporting as part of the SAJAG team
Who We’re Looking For

Someone who loves books and working with young children• Strong communication and facilitation skills in Marathi, with working knowledge of Hindi and English
Creative, organized, and able to take initiative as well as collaborate with a team
Comfortable working full-time, Monday to Saturday, from 10 AM to 6 PM
Postgraduate in Social Sciences, Education, or Library Science preferred
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) desirable
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
