Job Title: Product Owner – EPOS Software

Introduction:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Owner to lead the development and enhancement of our Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) software. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, designers, and stakeholders, to define and deliver a seamless, innovative, and user-friendly EPOS solution that meets the needs of both retail businesses and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Vision:
Define and communicate the vision, strategy, and road map for the EPOS software in alignment with the company’s business objectives.
Identify customer pain points, market trends, and competitive offerings to ensure the product remains relevant and valuable.
Create and prioritize the product backlog to ensure timely delivery of features and improvements.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with business leaders, sales, marketing, and customer support teams to understand customer requirements and business needs.
Engage with key customers to gather feedback and ensure the product meets their expectations and solves their challenges.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Backlog Management & Prioritization:
Lead sprint planning sessions and ensure the development team is focused on high-priority tasks that drive product value.
Regularly review and update the product backlog, balancing new features, bug fixes, and technical debt.
Ensure user stories are well-defined, providing clarity for the development team and other stakeholders.
Product Development & Delivery:
Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation to release, ensuring the software is delivered on time and meets quality standards.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure the product meets functional, technical, and usability requirements.
Conduct acceptance testing and gather feedback during beta releases to ensure product readiness.
Continuous Improvement:
Monitor product performance, usage analytics, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to EPOS systems to ensure the product remains competitive.
Documentation & Training:
Create and maintain product documentation, including release notes, user guides, and training materials.
Provide product training and support for internal teams and customers as needed.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience (10 years) as a Product Owner or similar role in EPOS, retail, or software development environments.
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
Skills & Abilities:
Strong understanding of EPOS systems, retail operations, and payment processing.
Ability to translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with UX/UI design principles, particularly in the context of EPOS interfaces.
Familiarity with retail industry trends, mobile EPOS solutions, and cloud-based EPOS systems.
Experience with data analytics and performance tracking tools.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 – ₹800,000.00 per year
