






Full job description
1. Accountant.
(a)Key Responsibilities.
· Maintain and update all financial records, including income, expenses, and transactions.
· Ensure accurate recording of all school-related financial activities in compliance with accounting principles.
· Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and other financial documents on a regular basis.
· Ensure that all financial transactions are appropriately recorded and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
· Calculate and process employee salaries, benefits, and deductions accurately and on time.
· Ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements related to payroll.
· Assist in preparing the school’s annual budget and financial forecasts.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for school management, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
· Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns and compliance with local tax regulations.
· Oversee the collection of school fees and other payments, ensuring proper documentation and timely processing.
· Maintain detailed records of all transactions and follow up on overdue payments.
· Ensure all financial records are properly stored, organized, and easily accessible for audits or management reviews.
· Maintain confidentiality and ensure secure handling of financial information.
(b)Qualifications & Skills.
· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· Additional accounting certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, or Tally certification) will be an advantage.
· Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a school or educational institution.
· Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
· Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
· Familiarity with payroll systems, tax filings, and financial audits.
