Full job description
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the sales team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the IT domain
Drive the achievement of sales targets and objectives for the team
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets within the IT sector
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and competitors
Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with company goals
Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure accurate tracking of leads and opportunities
Train and develop sales team members to enhance their skills and performance
Resolve any issues or challenges that arise in the sales process
Ensure compliance with company policies and sales procedures
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement
Implement best practices in sales processes and techniques
Foster a positive team environment and promote a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience in a high-growth tech company or startup environment
Knowledge of the latest sales techniques and tools
Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Strong understanding of IT products and services
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage and mentor a sales team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
High level of professionalism and integrity
Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools
Experience with HubSpot CRM and sales tools
