Full job description
We are currently hiring for the following position with a reputed knitwear/ hosiery export house for their Mumbai H.O.
Position: Textile Designer (Knitwear/ Hosiery)
Location: Lower Parel
Timing: Mon to Sat (10am-7pm)
Key Responsibilities:
Develop original concepts and artwork for textile prints and patterns.
Present design ideas to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively.
Ensure design accuracy and consistency before final printing.
Review printed samples to detect any color or design discrepancies.
Create layouts as per production requirements for seamless execution.
Work collaboratively with the production team to meet design specifications.
Stay updated on fashion and textile trends to bring fresh ideas to the table.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and digital printing techniques.
Strong color sense, pattern-making, and design aesthetics.
Prior experience in digital textile designing for the apparel industry is a plus.
Attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
Knowledge of fabric types, printing methods, and production processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in textile design (apparel industry preferred).
Hands-on experience with digital textile printing and color correction.
