We are seeking a creative and talented Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team in MS Sportswear. The ideal candidate will have a passion for activewear, a keen eye for trends, and the ability to create innovative designs that blend functionality with style. This role requires collaboration with various departments to ensure designs meet market needs and production capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

Create original activewear designs, including apparel and accessories, based on market trends and brand identity.
Develop mood boards, color palettes, and fabric selections for seasonal collections.
Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications for prototypes and production.
Trend Analysis:

Research and analyze current and future fashion trends, particularly in the activewear industry.
Product Development and Sample Making:

Oversee the product development process from concept to final production.
Coordinate the creation of samples, ensuring they meet design specifications and quality standards.
Conduct fittings and make necessary adjustments to prototypes.
Work closely with the pattern-making team to ensure accurate interpretation of designs and desired fit.
Communication and Collaboration:

Liaise with various departments (e.g., product development, merchandising, marketing) to ensure designs align with business goals and customer needs.
Address and implement changes in patterns and designs based on feedback from production and fitting sessions.
Tech Pack Creation:

Develop detailed tech packs for each design, including specifications, measurements, construction details, and material requirements.
Ensure tech packs are accurately updated and communicated to the production team.
Logo and Graphic Design:

Design logos and other graphic elements for activewear, ensuring consistency with brand identity.
Collaborate with the marketing team to incorporate branding elements into product designs.
Innovation:

Experiment with new techniques, materials, and technologies to enhance the functionality and aesthetic of activewear.
Propose sustainable design solutions and incorporate eco-friendly materials where possible.
Brand Representation:

Ensure all designs reflect the brand’s identity and meet the expectations of the target audience.
Prepare and present design concepts to internal teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
Proven experience as a fashion designer, preferably in activewear.
Strong portfolio showcasing innovative activewear designs.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD, Clo 3D).
Excellent understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and textiles.
Ability to translate market trends into commercially viable designs.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of sustainable fashion practices is a plus.
Preferred Skills:

Experience in performance wear design.
Familiarity with sports industry and athletic wear requirements.
Knowledge of digital pattern making and 3D garment simulation.
