Job Title: Internal Sales Advisor

About us:

Polymax is part of a successful international group that has been at the forefront of manufacturing and distributing rubber products since 1970. We are primarily based out of the UK and India with additional sales representation in the Netherlands and Poland.
Our European sales head office (team of 30) along with our niche product manufacturing (team of 25) is based in the UK,. Large volume commercial manufacturing (team of 125) and sales operations for Indian customers are based out of Thane in India.

About the role:

For our Thane sales office, we are looking for a smart, energetic sales advisor with a high degree of proficiency in written and spoken English and high degree of numercay (Math skills)

This is not a usual sales role and you will be trained in commercial negotiations to manage your own purchase and sales orders, in supply chain management and in developing your commercial acumen.

We constantly endeavor to foster an entrepreneurial spirit in our sales team and offer opportunities for career progression for the right candidate which include working on large accounts, company projects involving process improvement and movement to leadership roles in the company.

This is suitable for a Sales Engineer / Internal Sales Engineer / Internal Sales / Account Manager / Internal Sales Executive who is looking to join a growing company.

Role primarily involves responding to inbound sales inquiries received on the phone and email and developing sales leads.
Customer service is the heart of everything we do- you would coordinate with the production department and dispatch team to make sure customer orders and enquiries are processed on time and correctly and ensure high service standards
Other tasks include

Following all correspondence with transporters from booking till delivery to customers.
Maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents.
Maintain a list of sales orders.
Simple accounting tasks on Tally such as order entry, maintaining records of receivables etc. as instructed by your line manager
Package and Benefits:

Salary Competitive (Negotiable depending on experience between Rs.35,000/- to Rs.50,000/- per month.
Full time working hours between 10.00 am to 06.30 pm Monday to Saturday.
20 day paid holidays plus local public holidays as mandated by the factories act.

Is this you?

● Excellent written and verbal English skills
● Post Graduate/Masters in Commerce or Bachelor in Engineering or similar with a high degree score ● Intermediate skills in Excel & numerical calculations.
● Should be comfortable working in a busy team environment.
● Attention to detail and can remain calm under pressure.
● Experience of importing and exporting procedures would be an advantage
● Some experience using Tally would be ideal, though not essential
