Job Title: Java Engineer

Job Summary
DigiPlus IT is seeking a skilled and motivated Java Engineer to join our team in Mumbai. This role involves designing and developing scalable, high-performance applications for a growing user base. The ideal candidate will have expertise in troubleshooting, secure API development, and deployment architectures using Tomcat, JBOSS, and AWS. Knowledge of PHP is an added advantage. This position requires a strong understanding of event-driven and microservice architectures, hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kibana, and ELK Stack, and awareness of the end-to-end development process

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable architecture for heavy user load, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
Develop secure RESTful APIs, implementing robust authentication and authorization mechanisms
Demonstrate a very good understanding and experience with Maven and Nagios
Understand and contribute to building event-driven and microservice architectures
Understand deployment architecture using Tomcat, JBOSS, and AWS services
Utilize hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kibana, and ELK Stack
Be aware of the end-to-end process in designing, developing, troubleshooting, and restructuring projects
Troubleshoot and identify issues with ease, utilizing tools like Kibana and ELK Stack for monitoring and debugging but not limited to using JMXConsole, Jconsole and VisualVM
Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including coding standards and testing protocols
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop technical solutions
Required Skills and Experience

2-3 years of demonstrated experience as a Java Engineer in designing and developing scalable applications
Proven ability to design and implement scalable architectures for high user loads
Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Expertise in developing and securing RESTful APIs
Solid understanding of deployment architectures on Tomcat, JBOSS, and AWS
Experience building and deploying event-driven and microservice architectures
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kibana, and ELK Stack
Good understanding of build processes with Maven
Experience with monitoring tools, preferably Nagios
Familiarity with the entire software development lifecycle
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 – ₹1,400,000.00 per year
