JWELLERY CAD DESIGNER / SR. CAD DESIGNER
Job Responsibilities:
Create 3D CAD designs for jewellery pieces based on sketches, concepts, or client specifications.
Develop detailed technical drawings for production, including stone settings and metal specifications.
Modify designs based on feedback from the design team and clients.
Collaborate with designers and production teams to ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing.
Maintain design libraries and CAD files in an organized manner.
Work closely with artisans and manufacturers to bring designs from concept to final product.
Ensure all designs meet quality standards and customer requirements.
Skills Required:
Proficiency in Jewelry CAD software (Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD, or similar).
Understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes and techniques.
Strong knowledge of stones, metal settings, and jewelry components.
Attention to detail and ability to create intricate designs.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Time management skills to meet deadlines efficiently.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in Luxury or Custom Jewellery Design.
Knowledge of 3D rendering software.
Familiarity with metal weights and price estimation.
