1. Teacher – Music, Dance & Visual Arts.
(a) Key Responsibilities.
Music:
· Plan and deliver engaging music lessons covering vocal and instrumental techniques.
· Teach students about rhythm, melody, and musical theory while introducing them to various genres and styles.
· Prepare students for school events, competitions, and performances.
Dance:
· Teach classical, contemporary, and/or folk dance forms based on the school’s curriculum and student interests.
· Choreograph performances for school functions, annual events, and inter-school competitions.
· Encourage students to explore creative movement and expression through dance.
Visual Arts:
· Conduct lessons in drawing, painting, sculpture, and other visual art forms.
· Encourage students to use different media and techniques to express their creativity.
· Organize art exhibitions and competitions to showcase student work.
General Responsibilities:
· Inspire and motivate students to explore and appreciate performing and visual arts.
· Identify and nurture individual talents, providing additional support where necessary.
· Collaborate with other teachers for interdisciplinary activities and projects.
· Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment in the music room, dance studio, and art space.
· Organize and lead cultural programs, workshops, and extracurricular activities related to the arts.
· Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and assessments.
(b) Qualifications & Skills.
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Music, Dance, or a related field.
· B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred).
· Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in music, dance, and visual arts.
· Proficiency in musical instruments, vocal training, dance choreography, and art techniques.
· Passionate about teaching and fostering artistic development.
· Energetic, patient, and able to connect with students of all age groups.
(c) Additional Requirements:
