Job Title: Textile Print Designer
Job Location : Mumbai
Job Description:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Textile Print Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating unique and trend-forward textile prints for our collections. You will work closely with the design and production teams to develop innovative patterns that align with our brand identity and market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and develop original print designs based on seasonal trends, themes, and brand aesthetics.
Create digital textile prints, repeat patterns, and colorways using design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Adapt and modify existing prints to fit different fabrics, techniques, and production requirements.
Collaborate with designers, merchandisers, and production teams to ensure prints meet quality standards and production feasibility.
Stay updated on industry trends, new printing techniques, and emerging color palettes.
Work with manufacturers and vendors to ensure accurate execution of designs.
Manage print development from concept to final approval, including color matching and sampling.
Requirements:
Degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Textile Print Designer or similar role in fashion, home textiles, or related industries.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other relevant design software.
Excellent sense of color, composition, and textile trends.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of fabric types and how prints interact with various materials is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with production teams.
Knowledge of textile CAD software.
Ability to hand-sketch or paint designs is a bonus.
