Full job description
1. Teacher- ATAL Tinkering Lab (ATL).
(a) Key Responsibilities.
· Organize and manage the daily operations of the ATL, ensuring its efficient and effective use.
· Maintain and update ATL dashboard, ATL resources, equipment, and inventory.
· Develop and deliver hands-on workshops, activities, and sessions in STEM fields aligned with the ATL objectives.
· Encourage innovation and problem-solving through project-based learning and collaborative activities.
· Motivate students to participate in tinkering, designing, and prototyping using ATL tools and resources.
· Guide students in participating in innovation challenges, hackathons, and competitions.
· Foster critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork through STEM activities.
· Provide mentorship to students working on ATL projects, from ideation to prototyping and implementation.
· Document and report ATL activities, student achievements, and project outcomes to school management and relevant authorities.
· Ensure accurate recording of grant/ fund utilization.
· Stay updated with emerging trends in STEM education and adapt ATL programs accordingly.
(b)Qualifications & Skills.
· Graduate/Postgraduate degree in STEM fields such as Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
· Certification or training in robotics, coding, IoT, 3D printing, or similar technologies (preferred).
· Experience in STEM education, ATL coordination, or a similar role is highly desirable.
· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
· Passion for STEM education and fostering creativity in students.
· Ability to inspire and mentor students of different age groups.
