Key Stakeholders

Internal: Utility-RAC, Production, HR, Security, Engineering Purchase, RM & PM Store

External: Local Workshop for repairable jobs, External supplier via purchase for modification of spare & assembly

Educational Qualification

Essential: Diploma (Electrical & Electronics) from a reputed institute with at-least 5-7 years of experience or ITI with at-least 8-10 years of experience in electrical & instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting

Additional: Knowledge of PLC will be an added advantage

Experience

At-least 10-12 years of experience after Diploma or at least 15 years of experience after ITI in planned maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical devices/PLC based equipments, machines or instruments
HT Line, GOV, Feeder, Transformer, VCB, HT/LT Panel, Machine Panel, Drive, Soft Starter, DVR, AVR, DB, Capacitor Panel, Synchronization panel, Bus coupler, Distribution line, Solenoid valve, Domino Printing, Earthing, Cable connection, Factory Lighting, EPBX, PLC, DC/AC/Servo motors and alternator, Electrical Safety Devices (Relay/MCCB/MCB/Contactor/Fuse/ACB) etc.
Knowledge of utility operation, Production machineries, Quality tools & techniques and Modification of spares/units.
Strategies and techniques to Save Power comfortably within budget with daily monitoring and analysis of respective shift.
Interpersonal skill, effective communicator and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Planning the preventive maintenance schedule for HT Line, GOV, Feeder, Transformer, VCB, HT/LT Panel, Machine Panel, Drive, Soft Starter, DVR, AVR, DB, Capacitor Panel, Synchronization panel, Bus coupler, Distribution line, Solenoid valve, Domino Printing, Earthing, Cable connection, Factory Lighting, EPBX, PLC, DC/AC/Servo Motors and alternator, Electrical Safety Devices (Relay/MCCB/MCB/Contactor/Fuse/ACB) etc.and its execution in 360 Degree approach.
Operation and maintenance of for HT Line, GOV, Feeder, Transformer, VCB, HT/LT Panel, Machine Panel, Drive, Soft Starter, DVR, AVR, DB, Capacitor Panel, Synchronization panel, Bus coupler, Distribution line, Solenoid valve, Domino Printing, Earthing, Cable connection, Factory Lighting, EPBX, PLC, DC/AC/Servo motors and alternator, Electrical Safety Devices (Relay/MCCB/MCB/Contactor/Fuse/ACB) etc..
Timely indent of spares within budget as per maintenance plan on time with reqd. follow ups.
Zero leakage of power, power audit and initiation cum execution of power saving devices
Manpower planning and allocation as per production program.
Man powers and spares planning for operation and maintenance of machine/equipment in shift.
Coordination with outside parties for job and modification works.
Coordination with production department for smooth operation of plant and machinery.
Up to date maintaining maintenance/equipment log book and log history.
Close coordination with store for keeping minimum inventory level of consumable spares fuse, relay, contactor, MCB, MCCB, ACB, indicator, solenoid valve switch, drives, pressure switch, temp. sensor, temp. controller, heaters, temp & pressure indicators and critical spares etc.
Planning and execution for deep maintenance, mini O/H and major O/H and with list of reqd. spares at-least 2 months before financial year commence.
At least 3 down time analysis in a year with target less than 0.5% Down time bcz of power failure (Net Efficiency = 90%+) of production machines and equipment. Monitoring of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annually efficiency tracking with proper record.
To meet Customer Satisfaction Index =100%
To participate in SGA led approach for fixed and variable power saving.
Assistance to section in-charge/engineer in the implementation for modification, new and capacity expansion projects.
