Full job description
Overall Site Management: Taking ownership of the construction activities on each assigned site, ensuring they align with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
Supervision of Works: Directly overseeing the work of contractors, subcontractors, and site laborers. This includes assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring quality workmanship.
Quality Control & Assurance: Implementing and enforcing quality control procedures to ensure that all construction activities meet the required standards and specifications. This involves regular inspections, material testing, and addressing any non-conformities.
Health & Safety Compliance: Maintaining a strong focus on site safety. This includes implementing safety protocols, conducting safety briefings, ensuring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and addressing any potential hazards.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Tracking the progress of work on each site against the project schedule. This involves regular site visits, data collection, and preparing progress reports for the project manager.
Communication & Coordination: Acting as a key point of contact between various stakeholders on each site, including contractors, clients, consultants, and the project management team. Effective communication is crucial for resolving issues and ensuring smooth workflow.
Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving any technical or logistical issues that arise on the sites in a timely and efficient manner. This may involve proposing solutions, coordinating with relevant parties, and ensuring minimal disruption to the schedule.
Resource Management: Monitoring the use of materials, plant, and equipment on each site to ensure efficient utilization and prevent wastage.
Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date site records, including daily progress reports, material delivery notes, inspection reports, and any variations or deviations from the original plans.
Prioritization & Time Management: Effectively prioritizing tasks and managing time across multiple active sites. This requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to quickly switch between different project needs.
Regular Site Visits & Inspections: Developing a schedule for regular visits to each site to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance. The frequency of visits may vary depending on the stage of construction and the complexity of the project.
Remote Monitoring & Communication: Utilizing technology (e.g., video calls, shared online platforms) to remotely monitor progress and communicate with site teams when physical presence is not possible.
Delegation & Empowerment: Effectively delegating tasks to site supervisors or foremen on each site while retaining overall responsibility. Empowering site teams to handle routine tasks and make informed decisions within their scope.
Standardization of Processes: Implementing standardized processes and documentation across all sites to ensure consistency and efficiency in monitoring and reporting.
Snagging & Defect Management: Conducting thorough inspections to identify any snags or defects in the completed works. Coordinating with contractors to rectify these issues within the agreed timelines.
Final Inspections & Approvals: Arranging and participating in final inspections with clients, consultants, and relevant authorities to obtain necessary approvals and certifications.
Handover Documentation: Preparing and compiling all handover documentation, including as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, warranties, and other relevant documents.
Client Liaison During Handover: Maintaining clear communication with the client during the handover process, addressing any queries or concerns, and ensuring a smooth transition.
Site Clearance & Demobilization: Overseeing the clearance of the site, removal of temporary facilities, and demobilization of equipment and personnel upon completion of all works.
Final Account Reconciliation: Assisting in the reconciliation of final accounts with contractors and suppliers, ensuring all payments are processed correctly.
Lessons Learned Documentation: Participating in post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and best practices for future projects.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 – ₹25,000.00 per month
