Full job description
1. Special Educator, School Counsellor, Life Coach.
(a)Key Responsibilities.
Special Education Support:
· Provide individualized educational support to students with learning disabilities, developmental delays, and other special needs.
· Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students, in collaboration with teachers and parents.
· Suggest teaching materials, strategies, and classroom environments to accommodate students’ diverse needs.
· Work with teachers to ensure inclusion of students with special needs in regular classroom activities.
Counseling and Emotional Support:
· Provide one-on-one and group counseling to students facing emotional, social, or psychological challenges.
· Help students cope with stress, anxiety, family issues, or peer-related problems.
· Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students in need of counseling and emotional support.
· Facilitate conflict resolution and encourage positive behavior management.
Life Coaching and Personal Development:
· Conduct life skills coaching sessions to help students build resilience, self-confidence, time management, decision-making, and goal-setting abilities.
· Guide students in developing a growth mindset, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence.
· Organize workshops on topics like stress management, leadership, communication skills, and career planning.
General Responsibilities:
· Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to monitor students’ academic progress and emotional well-being.
· Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss students’ progress, concerns, and interventions.
· Use various diagnostic tools and techniques to evaluate students’ strengths, challenges, and overall well-being.
· Keep records of counseling sessions, progress reports, and action plans.
· Promote inclusive education practices and mental health awareness among students, teachers, and parents.
(b)Qualifications & Skills.
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
· Certification in Counseling or Life Coaching (preferred).
· Specialized training or certification in handling learning disabilities, behavioral disorders, or emotional challenges (preferred).
· Minimum 2-3 years of experience in special education, counseling, or life coaching, preferably in a school setting.
· Experience working with children of various age groups, especially in a CBSE or similar educational environment.
· Strong communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to build trust and rapport with students, parents, and teachers.
(c) Additional Requirements:

· Ability to work collaboratively with other staff and contribute to the overall growth of the school.
