Job Profile –

Digitally create textile patterns, prints and motifs. These designs will serve as the foundation for creation of fabrics, prints and other textile related materials.
Producing initial sketches on the computer using CAD software
Discussing with other colleagues, especially textile operatives regarding the feasibility and practicality of designs
Presenting new design concepts, and fabric qualities
Creating multiple colour ways for all textile prints
Liaising with the internal product development team and suppliers and manufacturers to ensure that the products are printed and manufactured correctly
Performing graphic design duties on Brochures ad Catalogues
Organise and maintain design files and archives systematically to ensure easy retrieval and access for future reference Required Qualification –
· Diploma or Degree in Textile Designing

· 5 -6 years’ experience in designing

· Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and CorelDraw for digital design creation and editing

· Knowledge of fabric types, weaves and printing techniques

· A passion for textiles, fashion and design trends
