Geecon is seeking a full-time Web Developer/Designer to build and implement client projects. Ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience. In addition to interfacing with the UK team, this candidate will work directly with clients, from concept to completion. Skill set should include project management, organization, client communication, thoughtful leadership and expertise in web development & interface design.

Responsibilities:
Meeting with clients to discuss website design and function.
Designing and building the website front-end.
Creating the website architecture.
Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
Conducting website performance tests.
Troubleshooting content issues.
Conducting WordPress training with the client.
Monitoring the performance of the live website.
Job Description:
Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
Core development knowledge in wordpress like
1. Plugin Development

2. Child theme Development

3. Theme Development

4. Custom Theme Development

5. API

6. Filter and hooks

7. Third Party Integration

8. Security

9. Performance

10. Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.

11. Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers

12. Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages

13. Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)

14. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}

15. Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
