Job DescriptionJob description: Our client are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join their team in Northern Ireland. Applicants must have right to work in the UK. UK visa sponsorship available for the overseas candidates. Duties Fabricate components from drawings and instructions to ensure what is produced meets customer requirementsUse MIG welder to produce goods as required from mild steel, Hardox and other metalsProduce bespoke and small batch production jobsQuality check own work to ensure specifications are meetOperation of equipment under your control to ensure safety of yourself and othersMaintaining good housekeeping in your work area, clearing spillages etc.Maintaining stock required for your work, reporting future requirements to your Manager promptly.Maintaining your machine in good working order, reporting faults to your Manager as necessary.Loading/ offloading despatches or deliveries as required.Operating gantries as required.Driving forklift as required if authorised and qualified to do so.Working with others in a cooperative manner to ensure an efficient and harmonious atmosphere.Ensuring that your production time is allocated to the correct job.Any other duties as required from time to time by management which are within your competence to carry outExperience Minimum 2 years experience in MIG welding/FabricationStrong knowledge of fabrication processes involving sheet metal and structural componentsProficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipmentMechanical knowledge relevant to assembly and fabrication tasksAbility to interpret technical drawings and schematics accuratelyPrior experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided where necessary
