Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager with experience in the solar industry to drive sales growth, develop strategic partnerships, and expand market presence for our solar robotic cleaning solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong industry connections, technical understanding of solar projects, and proven experience in B2B sales.
Key Responsibilities :
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the solar power sector (Utility-scale & C&I projects).
Promote and sell solar robotic cleaning solutions to EPC companies, O&M service providers, solar developers, and plant owners.
Generate leads through market research, networking, and industry events.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial negotiations.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Coordinate with the technical and operations team for project execution.
Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and industry conferences.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy) or MBA in Marketing.
3–8 years of experience in Business Development / Sales in Solar Industry.
Strong understanding of solar power plants, O&M processes, and EPC business model.
Experience in selling technical or industrial products preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel frequently for client meetings and site visits.
Strong network within the solar industry will be an added advantage.
